Goodtree & Company, Inc. got its start in early 2007 as Online-Copywriter.com. The company quickly grew to include websites, photo assignments, TV and viral video and web development.
“A lot of this stuff is just the old advertising creative skills recycled into new media channels,” says Goodtree. “I’ve been lucky to work with so many great people in the business, it didn’t seem like that much of a leap to project those skills into a new space.”

Hal started his career at Benton & Bowles in New York. As a producer, he has worked on some of the world’s top brands including P&G, Burger King, The National Football League, The New York Times, General Motors, HBO, Draft Worldwide, Saatchi & Saatchi, J. Walter Thompson, Digitas, the New York Mets, Audi, Sears and the Ad Council. He has a 1996 Emmy for Sportschannel and a 2002 Cannes Lion as part of an anti-smoking campaign.

Leslie comes from a marketing background, including work as a corporate communications writer and a trade show producer. She’s an expert content creator, writing and photographing for many of our clients. Leslie is also the Associate Editor of our sister company, CaryCitizen.
